THE UNIVERSITY OF NSW – Newly arrived migrant women's employability and entrepreneurship, ARC Linkage Project
CuriousWorks acts as community partner on this research project led by Dr Sukhmani Khorana. The project investigates a case study of newly arrived migrant women and provides a conceptual framework for understanding and facilitating young migrant women’s employability and entrepreneurship. This is a 4-year project 2024-2027.
WESTERN SYDNEY UNIVERSITY – Cultural Wellbeing project scoping
CuriousWorks acts as community arts partner on a research scoping project led by academic, Dr Karin Louise. 2025 was a year of peer to peer learning, sharing and ideation with a group of community arts and cultural development organisations and practitioners.
MILK CRATE THEATRE – Social Impact Framework Working Group
CuriousWorks is a working group member in a multi-year project led by Milk Crate Theatre to develop a community arts-specific social impact evaluation framework. The co-design process continued throughout 2025, preparing for a pilot phase in 2026.
ARTS AND CULTURAL EXCHANGE (ACE) – Capabilities and Leadership Skills in Community Arts and Cultural Development (CACD) for Emerging Producers in Western Sydney
Hosted by ACE (Arts & Cultural Exchange), ‘Capabilities and Leadership Skills in CACD for Emerging Producers in Western Sydney‘ provided 16 emerging CACD producers with training and upskilling opportunities in 2024-2025. CuriousWorks was a partner organisation on this innovative program, and one of the participants included CuriousWorks’ Creative Producer, Miranda Aguilar.
