Social Enterprise
Our Social Enterprise Program is a key vehicle for developing the skills and experience of early career creatives. The opportunities that arise through our fee-for-service client work provide scaffolded professional development through paid, on-the-job training and networking. This work in sector development and pathways is made possible when clients with shared values engage us to deliver their video production and community engagement needs. It’s a symbiotic relationship and one that is grounded in service to the broader community.
Highlighted below through client testimonials are three projects we delivered in 2024:
Brittany Nguyen, Engagement Coordinator – Penrith Regional Gallery
“Working with CuriousWorks was easy. Everything worked well: coordination, filming, production, editing. The films are authentic and well received by the communities.”
Astrid Perry, Head of Women, Equity & Domestic and Family Violence - Settlement Services International
“The dedication that the team has in their work was on display. The workshop facilitators were fun, passionate and professional. The duo engaged with care and ease. Our young people left their workshop on such a high and the smiles on their faces were absolutely heartwarming. The objective of the day was addressed and our young people were able to develop a short commercial to be shared at the Youth Council conference.”
Michelle O'Connor, Youth Development Officer - Canterbury City Council
